Gary Claus is well known in Pittsburgh business circles as a top flight financial executive.  He was a long-term Senior Partner in the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He joined the Jade Group effective July 1, 2008.  He is a Managing Director. 

 Gary Claus spent thirty-five years as a tax accountant at Price Waterhouse and its successor, PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He became a Partner in the Firm in 1986 and served as the Pittsburgh Senior Site Leader from 1992 through 2004.  He was also Global Leader of Human Resources for the Firm for several years.

Upon his retirement from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008, he joined the Jade Group as Managing Director of Executive Search - Accounting, Finance and Taxation.  Claus has a wide variety of experience advising clients ranging from large publicly held companies to small privately owned companies, including manufacturers, law firms and other service companies.  He has also served many small and medium-sized companies as well as executives of these companies in the capacity of tax advisor.

Claus is extremely active in professional, community and church organizations.  He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Robert Morris University.  He is a member and past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Baptist Homes of Western Pennsylvania; member and Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Dierctors of the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium; member of the Advisory Board of Sauereisen, Inc.; former member of the Board of Trustees of Hood College and past Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Baptist Association.  He was a participant in the Leadership Pittsburgh program sponsored by the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce and has served as a member of its Board of Directors.

 He graduated from Robert Morris University in 1974.  He and his wife live in Allison Park, PA.
