W. A. Baker has over 25 years of experience working in business development roles for a number of professional service firms, including a major accounting firm, a firm of actuaries and a medium-sized law firm.  He is Jade's Manager of Business Development.

Walter was hired as the first Manager of Sales and Marketing in the United States at Price Waterhouse approximately 25 years ago.  He was so successful as the Pittsburgh Office sales leader that the other PW offices and other "Big 8" accounting firms hired their own sales and marketing staff.

Following PW, W.A. established a sales and marketing program for Buck Consultants and managed the sales of a family of Mutual Funds with Federated Investors.  W.A. continued consulting in sales and marketing with regional legal and accounting firms.  In addition, W.A. specifically consulted with Lending Tree.com and the University of Pittsburgh.

W.A. rejolned Price Waterhouse as Sales & Marketing Director for the Ohio Valley Region.

Baker is extremely well known around Pittsburgh business circles.  He has been a speaker at numerous professional services association conferences.  He grew up in Fox Chapel, PA, and presently resides in Mt. Lebanon.  He is a graduate of John Carroll University and participated in the Executive Education Program of the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.
