Dave Christopher has had a long-term career in the accounting and finance field and held several senior management positions at a major accounting firm, at a major law firm, at an investment firm and at a financial and information technology consulting firm. He has extensive experience in strategic planning and in the information technology arena as well as in the executive recruiting business.  He is the Chairman of the Jade Group.

He retired from Price Waterhouse after more than 35 years of service. As one of the firm’s senior partners, he had major administrative responsibilities as Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office, as Managing Partner of the Ohio Valley Region and, finally as the Managing Partner of the Global Audit Practice, headquartered in New York City. As an Audit Partner, he worked with many of the firm's largest clients, including United States Steel, Gulf Oil, Westinghouse and Mellon Bank.

Upon his retirement, Christopher joined the major law firm of Reed Smith as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer during a period of significant growth for the firm. He then retired and joined the Philadelphia investment firm of Dimeling, Schreiber & Park. From there he joined Tatum Partners of Atlanta, Georgia, where he started up Tatum CIO Partners, a Tatum firm in the information technology consulting business. He served as CEO of that firm for three years. At the same time, he and two other former Price Waterhouse senior executives in 1999 started a retained executive search firm which they named The Jade Group. Christopher specializs his search efforts for senior executives in the finance, accounting, information technology and legal fields.

Christopher has been a long-time activist in civic and community affairs, including serving six years as President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Symphony Society and serving for varying periods in many other organizations including Boards of the American Symphony Orchestra League, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh, the Duquesne Club, the Pittsburgh Ballet and the Allegheny Regional Asset District.

He graduated from Penn State and served two years in the United States Army and he and his wife are residents of Mt. Lebanon, PA
